Religions have turned political groups.
Dalip Singh Wasan, Advocate.
Different religions took their birth at different times and at different places and that is the reason, they could not turn one religion and now the people in each religion have started declaring that their religion is the best and all others in other religions are not on the right path but are misguided people.
If we read religious books of all the religions, we come to the conclusion that all the religions are accepting that God is one and only one though He is called with different names. All the religions accept that we all have been sent on this earth by God Himself and He directs all the events of our life. All the religions believe that God Himself writes luck and destiny each of us and we are to live as per those directions and when our time is over, God recalls us and we die. All the religions believe that after death each one has to give his accounts and the people who had been doing something wrong during their life time are punished and are sent to Hell and all those who had been doing good works during their life time are sent to Heaven. These are the minimum concepts which are available in all the religious books available on this earth.
The world has got one God and they have got the same type of faiths, but they are not uniting as one family. If we have an eye on this world, this world has already been divided on the basis of religions. Some are called Muslim countries, some are Christians countries and some countries could be called Hindu countries. These units have become political and now one group is not in a mood to accept the supremacy of the other. They are competing and we are observing that the people who are having power are invading the other weak countries and they are trying to establish their supremacy. The people in each religion are not worrying about the path of their religion, but at present they are having a desire that their religious group may get supremacy in the world. The people in other religions who are weak know that they are under danger and the people of other religions may attach them any time and they shall be establishing their own supremacy over them. We also know that when people of one country attack another country, they collect other countries with them who also belong to the same religion. So now we can say that the next phase of wars shall be between people of different religions and nobody knows which religion shall get supremacy over the world.
Much had been said and the wise people had been trying to tell the people of the world that all the religions had been established just to meet one God, but all these uttering has been ignored by the people of this world and they are competing with each other.
There had been a time when Muslims had been ruling the world and then a time came when the Christians could establish their imperialism throughout the world. It had been accepted that this sun was never setting down and had been shining all the time over British Rule. Now time is coming when the Christian world, who is laced with arms shall rule the world and all others shall have to accept their supremacy. At present the war heads are determining the supremacy and the countries which are not having war heads shall not be having any place and they shall have to accept the supremacy of powerful countries. We had seen that when one force was invading Afghanistan and then Iraq all the people of the world kept silence though such invasions are banned under the International Law. Though after victory the powerful countries did not occupy the countries they won, but they are operating through ‘remote control’ and all the people of the world are having fear that they too shall be coming under this ‘ remote control’ one day or the other. So we can say with safety that the religions are not playing the role of correcting the people of the world, but today these religions are dividing this mankind and out of these divisions undesired wars are taking their birth and the people who are weak are turning terrorists. The man on the whole has entered into the zone of danger and none on this earth when there could be attack on their country and none knows when he could be killed by the terrorists or by the rioters. The religions which could have brought peace in the world have brought all the dangers and now none is at peace in this world. Therefore, we shall pray to God that He must come down on this earth and should give this man a right direction. If this man is allowed to go on the present path, there are chances that the world would be controlled by the powerful and all others shall turn slaves or they would become terrorists. And then peace shall be impossible in this earth.

What would Jesus think of the republican policy of taxing the poor and giving tax breaks to the wealthy?
Filed Under Other - Politics & Government | 17 Comments
Also, what would Jesus think of the republican policy of persuing war without any diplomatic attempt to resovle conflict.
Also what would he think of the republican policy of denying welfare and national health insurance to the poor?
This is just a hypothetical – as if jesus were asked these questions in a sit down interview with Matt Lauer. I know Jesus wasn’t political.

Not in Bible But in Quran (22); Has King Solomon Propagated the Lord’s Religion?
Filed Under Religion | Leave a Comment
King Solomon was a prophet.
King Solomon was very enthusiastic to spread the Lord’s Religion, to lead the unbelievers to know their Lord and submit to him and have faith and obey the Law.
This was the main objective of King Solomon.
All of his companions and hosts know this fact very well and they had done their best to let him achieve his main target. Anyone of his companions and hosts becomes lazy in doing that, King Solomon would have punished him severely!
Look at the Hoopoe when accidentally went to Yemen and saw the Queen of Sheba and the people there worshipping the sun; the Hoopoe was surprised and upset and went immediately to tell his boss King Solomon.
On the other hand, King Solomon was inspecting his Hosts; and he reviewed the birds. The Hoopoe was absent! King Solomon threatened to punish the Hoopoe severely or to kill him unless he has a reasonable excuse!
The Hoopoe came back and he acted like a news reporter which has got breaking news, he said that he found a woman ruling over the people in Yemen and she and her people were prostrating to the sun instead of Allah.
Now Solomon was very surprised to hear this news!
He wondered if there people on the earth which are not worshipping the Lord, the Creator!
Immediately, he wrote a letter and commanded the hoopoe to take it and deliver it to the Queen, and see what kind of response she shall give.
The Hoopoe did as Solomon commanded, dropped the letter and the Queen took it and read it, she was scared and went to meet her entourage for an emergency meeting.
The Queen of Sheba told her chieftains that a noble letter that is worthy of respect has been delivered to her.
What was the content of the letter?
1] It is from Solomon
2] And its first line says: “In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, and the Merciful.
3] And its text says: “Do not exalt yourselves against me; do not feel too haughty towards me, and come unto me (in surrender) in submission (to the true religion).
This letter was very short but comprehensive.
King Solomon commanded the Queen to follow the religion of Allah and submit to Allah!
The Queen decided to send Solomon a gift and wait to see with what he is going to do.
She thought that if he is interested in money he will be happy with the gifts but if he is devoted to Allah he will reject her gifts.
When the Queen’s envoy, came with the gifts, Solomon said, ‘Are you supplying me with gifts?
Go back to them, with the gifts that you have brought, for I shall assuredly come to them with hosts (that they cannot resist) which they will not be able to face and they have no power to stop and we shall expel them from there, from the land of Sheba humiliated, and they shall be utterly abased’, (with shame) with their hands tied to their necks, unless they come to me in submission to Allah’s religion.
What is the Wisdom of this story:
This story has many deep meanings, e.g.
1] King Solomon was devoted to Allah
2] The main objective of King Solomon was to spread his Lord religion everywhere on the earth.
3] King Solomon’s hosts knew that and they did their best to help him.
4] The Hoopoe (one of his hosts) came to him with breaking news about the people of Yemen who looked at the sun as god!
5] Solomon did not waste a second; he immediately sent them a letter inviting them to submit to Allah instead of worshipping the sun!
6] Solomon took the hoopoe news very seriously.
7] Although Solomon was very powerful, full of knowledge and wisdom, however, a hoopoe knew what he did not know. It is a general rule that is applicable in any field of knowledge and at any time. This rule is put by the Quran many centuries ago!
Surah (Chapter) 12:76
“Over every knowledgeable person, there is one more knowing.”
8] Solomon never felt embarrassed that the hoopoe knew what he did not; the most important in his eyes is to spread his Lord’s religion and to convince the unbelievers to become believers.
If the smart reader likes to read the details of Solomon’ stories with the hoopoe and the Queen of Sheba he (she) could find them in my articles:
Not in Bible but in Quran (11); King Solomon and His Unique Hoopoe
Not in Bible but in Quran (12); King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba
Not in Bible but in Quran (13); King Solomon’s Companion and the First Surprise!
Not in Bible but in Quran (14); King Solomon’s Castle and the Second Surprise!
=========
It is amazing that the Quran declares that King Solomon did his best and never wasted a second to spread the Lord’s religion. Also he refused to take the gifts of the Queen of Sheba.
On the other hand, the Bible never says that King Solomon attempted to spread the Lord’s religion and also he took the gifts of the Queen of Sheba!
=========
Back to the main issue of my series of articles; this is my question to you smart readers: “Is the Quran quoted from the Bible?”
By the way, the disbelieved ignorant Arabs stated that the Quran quoted from the Bible more than 1400 years ago! (Read my article about chapter 25).

I’m good with the other parts, but I just can’t portray Jesus well during the supper scene, where he reveals that Judas would betray Him!
I need serious answers, people! Atheists need not answer!

Using Religion to Escape the Church
Filed Under Spirituality | Leave a Comment
Although from time to time as you read my books and articles you may get the impression that I am against religion. Nothing could be further from the truth. I am not against any belief system and I believe that all beliefs are appropriate in their time and place.
What disturbs me the most is how the Churches use religion to disempower people. It keeps them captive in a belief system that is less than life affirming in that it holds back the believer from evolving past the Church or the religion itself.
It must be the mission statement of any organization to move its members to a higher level outside of their current beliefs, or the agenda becomes one of preservation of the organization over the welfare of its members. For me, the purpose of going to a church or attending any kind of a meeting would be to enlighten myself – not to be shackled or imprisoned. Moving from one box to the next is okay as long as you continue to move. Every step you take should take you to the next one.
The power of the church is obvious, and after thousands of years of mankind, humanity has moved very little spiritually. Today about 84% of the world’s population is religious. Men of importance and of high stature continue to practice outdated beliefs, and although they do it for their own personal reasons, fear is the common glue the binds them to it.
As enlightened persons, those who have moved out of the box may learn from the practices of the church. It is easy to see how organized religion can manipulate their congregants to remain loyal. The same practices are used in just about every religion – damned if you move; damned if you stay. Don’t ask questions about outside the box and don’t look outside the box or you will be damned.
Humanity is slow at catching up and religion is testament to that. In order to evolve, one must be ready to evolve. You can not walk from here to the corner unless you are willing to take the first step. You will when you are ready, and because so few have taken the step, it is obvious that they are not ready. It is no different outside the box as it is inside, except that you don’t have the four walls holding you back, nor do you have the protection of the four walls, but what you do have is an escape route and a chance to move somewhere else.
It is scary being outside the box and moving to places you know nothing about. However, with time the fear disappears as the unexpected becomes the expected. When one assumes responsibility for their lives, they also accept responsibility for the awesome, infinite power that comes along with it. The power and freedom to do, have, or be anything that you desire on demand and not be limited by ones own thoughts.
It is only when humanity looks to itself to create what it desires, does he truly know he is free and has joined with his God as one. The practices of the church, such as praying, worshipping, and letting go can give us example of how to focus on what we want to create. But, at the same time one must know that he/she is focusing on his own power to create; not any symbols or Gods outside of himself. If you are in denial of your own power, then you are at the whim of something that cannot hear you. You are past help, past hope, and past cure. That is not to say that prayers are all unanswered, but when credit is given away, so is the ability to tap into the power to create at will and from the true source.
When I talk or write about religion, I am not against it, nor am I for it. What I want to do is empower my readers to go past their beliefs, and create something that is even better than what they are experiencing now. I want to give them an opening in the box that they can squeeze through from choice, and move on to something even better. What I want to do is wave at you from where I am, and you are, and let you know that the distance between us is full of opportunities. I made it and so can you.
I am not looking for followers, I represent opportunity and not an end, I am not a guru or a savior, and I am a free spirit moving along a different chosen path. The pieces of paper that I drop along my path are my landmarks and acknowledgement that I have been here and gone. Either way, if you keep finding these papers or if they have all piled up in one spot – you will not find me, for I have moved on. It means I am life itself, always moving and always changing – just as you are.
Empower yourself, set yourself free to think outside the box, fear was meant to conquer; not imprison your soul. Give yourself permission to move on and experience all that you can be. The best belief is the one that demonstrates that it works for you in this life – that it offers you what you want to experience now, and not a promise of something that may come in another time and place. I am not God fearing, I am God loving!

To begin with, according to the Bible, Jesus never ate fish or went fishing during the entire time of his incarnation on earth. Nor for that matter, did he kill or eat any other animals.
No human being has any need to eat any animal products, without exception. To cause pain and suffering is a sin, and since animal products come for tortured and abused animals, its makes it a sin to eat those products, because the money paid for these products causes more sufferings and the purchaser a contributor to the sin.

How does religion and democracy play a role in the United States today?
Filed Under Government | 3 Comments
My question as stated above is how does religion and democracy play a role in the United States today. What I mean by this is how do they go “hand in hand” and make an effect on society today? One example I have is by the first ammendent. Freedom of religion, democracy is what gives us the freedom of religion. If you can think of any other topics on this subject that would be great.

Passover and Unleaven Bread are both mentioned in scripture, but I’m not clear on how many days pass between Jesus ascension into heaven and Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit comes.
