Religious people without a rligion.

Sir,

As far as India is concerned, it is on record that here there are so many religions, so many religious books, so many religious places, so many saints, so many Avtaras, so many devis, so many Devitas, so many Gurus and so many Bhagatas. It is also on record that thousands of people are available here to perform religious rites and they are also available to recite religious books. We have noted that in India there are so many people who are explaining the principles laid down in religious books and now they are earning much and therefore, more and more people are adopting this profession, trade and calling. We have noted that all the religious places in India have turned rich and even politicians are taking shelter here. But in spite of all these items in this area, the people could not become religious and sacred. It is on record that here in India people had been killing people just in name of religion and there had been conversion on large scale. There had been demolition of religious places and people had been constructing religious places of their own religion. There are certain groups who are turning as terrorists and certain groups turning as rioters and both are killing innocent people. It is on record that about 8,00,000 people had been killed in partition of 1947 and about 11,00,00,000 people were forced to migrate to unknown places. It is on record that about 2,00,000 people have been killed by terrorists and rioters in India alone and that too after partition of 1947. This had been the role of religion in India and that is the reason here in India people are committing all types of sins, crimes and misconducts and all these religious books could not give a right direction to the people in India. So we can say that there are so many religions in India but the number of religious people is on the lower side.

Dalip Singh Wasan asked:

Religion and ruling spirit divided the world.

Dalip Singh Wasan, Advocate.

If we have a deep study of today, we shall come to know that this world has been divided by two main forces. These two forces are (1) religion and (2) ruling spirit. The world is divided in the following religious groups:-

(1)Hindus.

(2)Muslims.

(3)Christians and

(4)people who do not believe in religions.

And similarly the people who want to rule they have established separate countries and they are protecting themselves and their right to rule their own area. Some countries have established democracies, but still the ruling classes are functioning on the same pattern as their forefathers had been ruling us. The are not true representatives of the people of the country they rule because they are alive with the same spirit of rajas, maharajas, monarchs and the imperialists. These politicians are a separate sets of people who have adopted this line of politicians as a profession, trade, calling and employment. They spend on election and take these investments as trade investments and once they get power, they start recollecting what they had spent on election and purchase of party tickets. Therefore, though these establishments are called democracies, actually there is nothing democratic in these establishments because they snatch away most of the wealth of the people and they become rich and powerful. Therefore, it is in their own interest that they should keep the people divided. The British government in India invented the concept of ‘divide and rule’ and even after democracy the people are being divided and that is the reason, these people are getting votes and they are ruling us. Since in each country there are elections and the people elect their rulers with their own votes, therefore, the people are now left with no other alternative but to vote after each spell of five years or more and they are invited to cast their votes and then go back to suffer for another term of five years or more.

The ruling sets of people want that the people should remain divided and that is the reason they are able to elect a cause of action. They know that people could be divided on the basis of religion and that is the reason they are dividing the people on the basis of religions. We know that even this whole world has been divided on the basis of religions and some religions are at war. One group is showing its power in direct attacks and the other group has adopted the path of indirect path. One is attacking in direct wars and the other is attacking in indirect wars i.e. the path of terrorism and we have noted that both the groups are killing innocent people who have got no interest in the people who are attacking directly and the people who are attacking indirectly.

The people of the world know these two groups and they also know that they are not in a position to have liberty from these two forces and that is the reason they remain silent. We are having such instances in our own country when fake encounters and terrorism both are functioning with speed and we have killed lacs of our own people with our own hands and we all know that the people who had been killed by these two forces were totally innocent people. But the people of India are helpless and they are not in a position to stop these two forces. And similarly the people are silent when one country is attacking another country and the people in other countries are replying through terrorism.

We have noted that both the politicians and the fundamentalists had their ways in 1947 in Hindustan when about 8,00,000people were killed and about 11,00,00,000 people had been forced to migrate and it is on record that all these deaths and all these migrations had not been noted down in history books and none spoke about the people who had been killed because of wrong decisions of the ruling classes i.e. the politicians. This 1947 tragedy could be designated as the biggest tragedy in the world, but it had been allowed to go away without notice. The people who got an opportunity to rule have repeatedly said that the independence had been got without shedding blood. This is the biggest satire on those who had been killed or who had to migrate to unknown places. So the heart of these ruling classes works like this and therefore, the people of the world should not expect anything better from these politicians.

The politicians shall keep the people divided in religions and they shall be ruling us and therefore, there are no chances that this world shall become one world with one government. The politicians would never allow the people to join in a common religion and they shall make it sure that people shall remain fighting on the basis of religions.

Religions could not correct the conduct of the people in the world.

Sir,

If we have a look on the people who are in jails we shall find that people belonging to all the religions are available there and if we arrange them offence-wise, we shall find that all the people belonging to different religions are committing crimes, sins and misconducts and there is no religion people of which are not committing crimes. So we can that people in this world are religious people and they look religious, but whatever the religions had taught them, they are not following those principles in life and while dealing with others. The main guidelines of all the religions are the same, but since we have been divided, there is no chance of collecting all the people in one group. The people shall remain divided and more and more problems shall be there in the world and ultimately, there are chances that people shall be divided just on the basis of religions and they shall be establishing their separate countries. People will not be adopting the principles of their religions and they shall be forming just separate groups and this division shall continue because all efforts to unite the man have failed.

Religion Is Not Our Problem

Religion means good conduct and therefore, religion is never in danger. Our conduct is in danger. Our conduct is in danger when we are wrong and having misconduct on the higher side, we have lost the religion and even the religion to which we belong. All religions guide us to have proper behaviour with others cannot be called a Hindu, Sikh, Muslims, Parsi, Christian or the like. And today most of the people in politics are utilisng religion as a tool for their own success so that they may get power and then they could commit all crimes, sins, misconduct and through illegal means they may collect money and power. Actually the people in politics when they utilize religion for the attainments of such goals, they don’t remain religious people. They actually pollute the religion and also the people who come under their influence. We have noted that when religions are polluted by these political people, terrorism and rioting take birth and people start killing innocent people just to create an atmosphere of danger for all. It shall be better if religion remain our individual concern and it should not be allowed to play part in politics. Political people should not be allowed to speak in religious gatherings. They must be kept apart and away from such gatherings and if they are allowed to participate, they shall actually pollute the religion. Religion is a sacred thing and it should be kept clean. We should avoid participating in gatherings which are semi religious and semi political.

Religions do not unite the people

Dalip Singh Wasan, Advocate.

It must be accepted that religions could not unite the people of the world. It must be accepted that this world has been divided on the basis of religions and on the administrative side this world is divided on the basis of countries. All these divisions had been wasting the time of the people and it must be on record that most of the wars and conflicts had been there because of establishment of different religions and because of establishment of different countries. Had there been one world and had there been one religion or no religion at all the people of this world could have avoided all these wars and all these conflicts and more time and energy could have been utilized for the welfare of this man and there were chances that more inventions and discoveries could have been made by this man. And had we traveled on the right direction for these centuries, this world would become Heaven we could have seen God with naked eyes.

It must be accepted that all religions had been taking birth at different places and that had been the reason names of religions are different. We do not know much about the basic principles which were laid down at the first instance, but if today, we study the religious scriptures, we come to the conclusion that all the religions tell us the same things and there is no difference in principles of the religions. But the religions have divided the people and now we can recognize a person standing before us and we can tell to which religion this man belongs and what are his thoughts about us. We have different places of worship, different books, different thoughts, different haircut, different languages, different clothes and different way of saluting each other. And at the same time we are divided and we feel that the people in other religions are not taking any interest in our welfare. This is the tragedy with this man and now a stage has come where this man is not in a position to shed off all the religions and establish a common religion. There had been some works toward this direction, but none of the efforts could establish one religion.

The man is still going on and they are establishing different sub religions and they are successful. The people who have adopted this way to earn money, they are successful because it is very easy to collect people in these units and then snatch away money from them. People who have entered this profession are successful and have become known people and at the same time, they have collected huge amounts of money and are enjoying life like rich people and like powerful people.

At present the position is more dangerous because most of the major religions have established themselves and they are at war with each other simply because they are different. All the religions have started establishing themselves and they are constructing big buildings and are collecting all mythology around their religions. They have appointed scholars to dig out mythology and history concerning their religion and they are in competition with each other. People in one religion are telling us that they are the first in finding out real God and they are also saying that they are more powerful only because they belong to that particular religion and others are weak because they belong to another weak and false religion. People are trying to establish that people in their religion are the right persons and people in other religions are false, wrong and unreligious people.

So if the present trends go on, there are chances this world shall be divided into Muslims, Christians and Hindus and there are chances the next division of this world would be based on these three religions and there are chances that all the countries shall be merged religions-wise and there shall be three groups, three countries in the world and there are chances that there should be an upheaval as had happened when Hindustan was divided in 1947 into India and Pakistan in which 8,00,000 people had been killed and atleast 11,00,00,000 had been uprooted and migrated to unknown places. The wise people of the world should sit together and they should try to establish one religion which should be common to all and the present division on the basis of religions should go. Otherwise this world created by God shall turn Hell and we all shall suffer in it.

religion
Kh Atiar Rahman asked:

There is no denying the fact that ‘Faith integrated upon a religion may perhaps be idiosyncratic conviction in a god or gods’ which exist in the sore traditional activity of human being as one is supposed to activate one’s perpetual faith by continuous supplication as a tentative flow. Some religions have many gods; some have only one and even some religions are theistic; others are not, even though these are popular and remarkable traditionally in some particular regions. In India, Bangladesh, China, and Nepal and even in Great Britain, such theistic people’s religions are found out.

Suffice it to say that Faith developed upon a religion is the reverse of a faith interacted upon a creed, which is acceptable that there is no god. Biblical faith interacted upon a religion is the code in the Judeo-Christian God, i.e., the God presented in the Bible and ever since, Biblical faith interacted upon a religion covers countless subtopics. A cram of the God of the Bible will inevitably center attention on the Godhead, self-assured of the Father, Son, and hallowed Spirit. It exchanges a few words to the nature and characteristic of God, the pre-existence and deity of Christ, the person and modus operandi of the Holy Spirit, and a host of other subcategories. For reserve information about biblical faith interacted upon a religion, we can find many important criteria in this universe. Our secular and humanistic society now generally rejects biblical faith interacted upon a religion; although a majority in our society may articulate in the sense that they accept as true in the God of the Bible, they also pass their remark in the way that their belief in God has little to do with the technique as they conduct their lives to give as good as you get their day to day situations. Institutions of big business, governments, commerce, industry, and education operate more by secular and humanistic principles than by principles of biblical faith interacted upon a religion. For information on the subject of humanistic philosophies contrasting to biblical faith interrelated upon a religion, we can face Philosophical faith interacted upon a religion of Humanism expressed in terms of communism of equal rights to establish uniformity in respect of castes and creeds.

There is no denying the fact that we’re in a Cultural War and even it’s a spiritual war too to retaliate our real life situation. It’s a philosophical war in the sense that it’s a very practical war. This is a spiritual war for the reason that it is a race between high-quality and malevolence, between decency and indulgence. This is a philosophical war because it is a contest between biblical faith interacted upon a religion and modern humanism, between God’s word and human judgment. This is a practical war because it is about human conduct in social and cultural practices. It’s about whether a society can abide if it tolerates such things as abortion, divorce, gambling, pornography, homosexuality, sexual promiscuity, etc. To win this war, theists must be well-versed about the truth-seeking foundations of both sides, about goals and objectives, about strategies and tactics, and about how to be actively complicated in this conflict. For theists, the philosophical nitty-gritty of this war is set forth in scripture. For humanists, the philosophical brass tacks are from human reasoning as declared in humanistic books and documents. Because theists are generally not familiar with the writings of humanists, theists generally do not understand why we are in a cultural war and that humanists are at this time captivating this war. This war is being fought in many arenas – ethics, financial side, schooling, law, politics, religion, etc. Activists are to be found on the streets, in public school classrooms, at workplaces, in churches, and in the halls of civil governments.

This is an inquiring feeling whether we are involved or not in regard to the ethical prospects of life which predominates a man to seek truth which are vitally desired for spiritual as well as eternal life. Theists are generally active in churches and homes, but the humanistic philosophy of secularism has now generally barred faith cooperated upon a religion from workplaces, educational classrooms, and the halls of civil governments. The only way for theists to stop this rising humanistic way of life and its disparaging morally wrong charged is for well-versed theists to confront the philosophy of humanism with the attitude of faith intermingle upon a religion in every arena of life. To put in the picture to others if we have the same opinion that these matters are worthy of greater absorption and that they impress to be squabbled more fully among Christians. AIK is a new probabilistic argument alongside the continuation of the Christian God. According to one translation of the argument, if the Christian God existed he would ensure that all human beings have an excellent knowledge of the Bible before they die. But, as a matter of chronological fact, most human beings do not even get close to having an excellent knowledge of the Bible before they die. Therefore, the Christian God probably doesn’t exist. Ted Drange develops two arguments for the nonexistence of the God of evangelical Christianity, an all-powerful and loving being greatly concerned about the fate of human beings and desiring a personal liaison with them. According to his argument from confusion, extensive puzzlement stuck between Christians over matters of ultimate consequence entailed that the God of evangelical Christianity in all probability does not exist. In particular, the uncontrolled diversification of Christian sects on such matters entails that, even if any one of those sects is correct, large numbers of Christians must hold false beliefs about concern of eventual importance–contrary to what one would predict if the God of evangelical Christianity existed. The argument from biblical imperfection contends that if the God of evangelical Christianity existed, then the Bible would probably be flawlessly comprehensible and trustworthy and lacking marks of solely human authorship; but since the Bible does not meet either of these criteria, the God of evangelical Christianity probably does not exist.

“Set apart this stipulation, beloved Lord,” George Fox and Phil Smith had articulated sympathetically into the microphone, “and shortcoming will we seize delivery of it in the spirit in which some one gave it to some body.” They are being university professors self-confident about their faiths and achievements stated that the Christians seated around the banquet tables in the large student union had their heads bowed reverently while the nonbelievers, lost in their own thoughts, waited patiently for the thanksgiving prayer to finish. Their eyes were closed up tight, his squint embellished by his chunky glasses. When he had completed his supplication, a choral group of deep “amen’s” echoed from induction to end the large hall. Now that the food had been hallowed, the attendees at the Society of Philosophers were ready to march up to the buffet table and eagerly partake of their fair share. Here, among theist and agnostic thinkers from all parts of the globe, opportunist philosophical arguments and debates would begin to take shape. Amidst the clank of utensil on plate after everyone had been dished up their food, tête-à-tête hastily crooked back to idealistic talk of space and time, the veridicality of credence in God, Darwinian point of view from malevolence, and whether or not so and so will as a final point stop working from training relevant to the particular time frame.. Somewhere off in a corner an apprentice participated a heavy-eyed piece of music on a majestic piano. At one table, Peter Forrest hailing from Australia resumed a topic near and dear to his heart: the disambiguation of time. “The transcendentalist doesn’t in fact get higher,” he asserted while holding his hand out flat and unhurriedly raising it up to impersonate the yogi’s feat. “Instead,” Forrest unremitting, “he loses the differentiation connecting the typical means of access of time and the submissive sequential order in which the flow of time seems to slow to a crawl.” A graduate student next to him who had been carefully listening frowned. Forrest seemed energized by this skepticism and his grin spread wider on his face while his brown tangled hair bounced wildly. Clearly, Forrest was happiest when the subject gravitated toward A- and B-theories of time and whether or not time passes in discrete units or was rather like Plato’s “moving image of eternity.”

Subsequently, all and sundry had earnestly frenzied the baked salmon and cheesecake, Paul K. Moser, Professor of Philosophy at Loyola University, discharged the keynote address. However, to his shame he initiated that one thing kept distracting him from his interesting presentation. No matter how hard I tried to ignore it, he couldn’t help but notice that Moser bore a striking resemblance to the popular portrayals of Jesus Christ. From his shoulder-length brown hair, to his sparkling eyes, long thin nose, and carefully trimmed beard, I would have believed the chef were he to tell me that Moser himself divided just two salmon into two hundred for our banquet that night. Moser’s talk was passionate and he was obviously in command of his material. He argued that to seek propositional belief that God exists was tantamount to idolatry because it seeks the knowledge of God rather than a relationship with God. “For our own good,” Moser said, “we are not in charge of God or of available evidence for God. We must know God as Reconciling Lord of our lives, given God’s redemptive program.”

Thus, a proper epistemology, Moser insisted, is one that hunt for a relationship with the redeeming God of Israel rather than one that seeks justified true belief that God exists. To seek mere existence of God, Moser said, is to trivialize God and to put God into human terms. Only when one is properly oriented toward God can one see that life is a gift. Then one can behave accordingly with “self-giving trust, gratitude, and humility” toward God. The atheist, Moser pronounced, sees the universe as an accidental fluke; therefore, he responds to the universe with “self-protecting control, self-crediting, fear, striving, and pride.” While the atheist experiences “despair, pessimism, anxiety, and worry,” Moser argued, the Christian experiences “hope, optimism, mercy, and forgiveness.” Moser called the proper view of God an “epistemology of Gethsemane” which is to say, “not my will but Thy Will.” opportunity the conference’s First Plenary Session on Thursday morning, Professor Paul Draper, Florida International University delivered a paper entitled “Seeking but not Believing: Confessions of a Practicing Agnostic.” “I’ve got to warn you guys,” Draper had told us shortly ahead of time, “the paper I’m about to give will appeal greatly to the theists.” Draper did not disappoint. Before his talk began, he asked everyone to pray for Brian Leftow, who had been scheduled to deliver a paper but was too ill to attend the conference. In his presentation, Draper squabbled that he was a fence sitter because the verification both for and against naturalism and faith acted together upon a religion was evenly divided. Draper used the analogy of red and blue jelly beans to illustrate the evidence that came to bear on the problem of naturalism versus faith collaborated upon a religion. A red bean symbolized a piece of confirmation in favor of naturalism while a blue bean represented an argument that seemed to weigh in favor of faith intermingled upon a religion. With a total of five red beans and five blue beans, Draper was undecided about the issue and remarked that he needed more time to weigh all of the arguments. “I’m waiting, indeed hoping, to be pulled over to one side,” he confessed. Draper’s honesty seemed to set the right tone for the conference. While both theists and atheists alike would fervently disagree, everyone had the utmost respect for opposing points of view. During the break, Phil Fernandez, an evangelical Christian minister who described himself as coming from the Van Tillman school of thought, recognized Jeff and walked up to say hello. “Still in the Infidel business?” he asked with a grin. “What else?” Jeff replied. Fernandez was an easygoing beneficiary, stocky and athletic, speedy with a smile and possessing an engaging personality. After introducing him to Theodore Drange, Jeff introduced Fernandes to me. “Oh yeah, you’re the guy who wrote a bad review of my book,” Fernandes said slowly while forcefully gripping my hand. I quickly tried to recall what his book was about and what I had said but my mind went blank. “I hope it wasn’t too awful,” I accessible in retort. “Well,” he said, “some of my colleagues were pretty upset by what you wrote but I wasn’t bothered by it too much.” We were late for the second plenary gathering so we speedily enveloped up our introductions. William Lane Craig, from the Talbot School of Theology, was going to speak on naturalism, cosmology, and present his trademark kalam cosmological argument for the existence of God.

In view of the above it is evident that religion leads humans how to lead life controlled and cleanly and from such concepts, supplication for the sake of almighty has been dedicated and it is inevitable to hold faith in running day to day activities of life. We are habituated to deal life selfishly in order to achieve maximum interest in life. But the true religion teaches mankind how to achieve purity of life. Purity signifies humans real equity, justice, humanity and trustworthy of life. Real belief is quite different phenomena with which one can reach the reality of creation. In the whole world, all sorts of crisis are prevailing on a large scale such as crisis of food; shelter and clothing are nowadays a dominant issue. In the language of Economics, our hierarchical needs are physiological, safety, security, egoistic and self actuality needs which play a vital part to be satisfied as one’s birth right against scarcity, choice and opportunity cost. Due to the fact, no one is satisfied in the world whatever they posses in the eternal world. For this reason, unrest movement against economy, commerce and trade are predominating and every one runs after momentary happy. Hence, in order to bring a peaceful world, the importance of religion in men’s life cannot be ignored. Hence, our duty towards mankind is great and compulsory but we forget and eternity becomes the mainstream of life. We should be careful about the rights of humans and whatever we posses, we should utilize them in a systematic manner. In this context, a few lines of poem composed by Robert Frost is worth mentioning:

“The wood is lovely, dark and deep

I have promises to keep

And I have miles to go before I sleep

And I have miles to go before I sleep”

Dalip Singh Wasan asked:

Understanding religion

Dalip Singh Wasan, Advocate.

We have seen that people of this world are belonging to one religion or the other and there could be very few people who do not belong to a religion. They enter into a religion when they are born because we take up the religion which is the religion of our parents or one of such parents. We are brought with those beliefs and hence these beliefs become part and parcel of our life. And we all know that very few of us change or convert to another religion. We have to live and continue in that religion and we die in that religion and ultimately our body is consigned to the end as per customs of that religion. and as per our beliefs we shall be getting Hell or Heaven as per our own deeds.

We have noted that all the religions are telling us the same principles and in spite of this fact, we could not unite in one religion. We have given names to religions and we are trying to establish that each religion is separate unit and does not match the other. We the people of this world are trying to establish that one religion is better than the other and that is the reason we had started converting people from one religion to the other only to increase the number and here we have a belief that who is converting more people to his religion is doing something in service of his own religion.

If we go deep, we shall find that all the religions on this earth are telling us the same principles and there is no difference. The names and way of living in each religion may be different and that might have been due to the reason that each religion had taken its birth at a different place and at a different time. But on the whole all are have the same beliefs.

The Hindus could be the oldest who had invented God and then they started giving powers to God and then they started praying before him. If we count and compare we shall find that God was established by Hindus, court of Dharam Raj was established by Hindus, Hindus are the first who invented institutions of Hell and Heaven, they had invented methods of devotion and worship, they started writing on the praise of God and they started the methods of prayers and worship. They are the first who started praying before God and then demanding blessing from God. The concept of charity also took its birth here in Hindustan.

And now these concepts which had been established by Hindus are available all over the world and all the people of the world are adding new concepts in their own religions only to show that they are different people and do not tally with the people of other religions and if we go deep, we shall find that there is a war going on in between the religions and if there is next world war, which has already taken its birth, shall not be between two countries, but it shall be between two religions and one religion shall try to finish the people of the other religion so that there could be peace in this world.

We shall have to accept that concepts of religions were good, but it is also on record that all the stages these people had been creating troubles for common people. Religions never allowed this man to live in peace. It is very strange that on one side we are admitting that all the religions are giving us the same guidelines, but on the other hand we all are fighting on the cause of religion and if we go deep in history, we shall find that at all the times all tyrannies had been committed in name of religion. People may be calling themselves brave, heroes of the like and on the other hand they may be counting their people as martyrs, all were not on the right path and all were based on religions. Religions never allowed one set of people to kill another set of people and if some people indulge in such killings, we should not count them as religious people and nor we should honour them as heroes because killing others is a grave sin and the man who is committing such sins shall be sent to Hell and no religion on earth shall save him from Hell. Therefore, the religions must tell their people that none should kill another though the cause may be sacred. We should honour the will of God who had sent each of us on this earth and Himself shall be calling us back and only then we should die. We are nobody to make short the period of our tenure which has been provided to us by God and if we do it we are committing crime, sin or the misconduct and we shall be punished.

If we want to be religious person, then we shall have to believe that God is one, we are His children, we all are members of one family, we are relatives of each other, we are to take care of others, we should not commit any crime, sin or misconduct against others around us, we should serve others, we should serve the child, the ill, the diseased person, the handicapped person, the old person and the man who is otherwise helpless. We should not discriminate on the basis of religions, castes, colour and creed, we should help women because they are the mothers of this mankind and we should give her a honourable place in the house. We should not indulge in scams, scandals, muddles, bribes, corruption, sale of jobs, sale of party tickets, taking in commissions and at all times we should see that we are taking our own share and we are not snatching away share of others. If we adopt these minimums only then we claim hat we are religious persons

The present look of persons is totally misleading. They are showing and presenting themselves as religious persons, though in their heart of heart they are not religious person. All who are trying to make other to understand the religious concepts, themselves are on the wrong path. they are collecting money from others and are living on those charity when they could have adopted some profession, trade, calling and employment for themselves. Preaching religion could be an additional way, but we should not earn our living from these discourses. The people who are living on charity cannot be near to God nor they shall be able to bring us near to God. They are below normal people and therefore, such people should not given respect and honour in society.

We should become a normal person who is earning his own living, earning for the administration of his family, is looking after his children, giving them proper education, is giving to his children proper training and proper adjustment in life, who is believing that God is present everywhere and is having an eye on us, we shall be punished if we are doing something wrong and we shall be awarded if we are doing something right, we should not snatch away share of others, we should not give in charity, but if need be we should help the needy and we should try to teach him how to catch a fish instead of begging a fish from others. We must try be faithful, sincere, honest towards others and we should avoid drinking, taking drugs, eating opium and we must earn through honest means. These are some minimums on the basis of which we can call ourselves as religious person. So from today, we shall try to adopt the right course in in life and people may consider us religious persons or they may not take us as religious person.

Dalip Singh Wasan asked:

Religions could not reform the man

We shall have to accept that much is written in all the religious books available in this world, but at the same time we shall have to accept that all these guidelines could not correct this man nor these guidance could reform the man. People in all the religions are committing crimes, sins and misconducts found in all the conduct books, in all the religious books and in all the penal laws available in all the countries and the police, the society, the courts and the jails are full with people who are facing all these charges and are being punished.

The religions had been established at different places at different time and the people who took up the work of reforming the man started writing books or giving discourses establishing guidelines for the man and the people who started joining these groups are ultimately established themselves in that religion and they gave a particular name to that religion. The religions might had done something good for the beginning, but with the passing of time these religions started dividing this man into different groups and at a later stage they started fighting amongst each other. It is on record that most of the wars had been because of different religions. There had been conversions and forced conversions too. The people had been demolishing religious places of one religion and they had been constructing religious places of their own religions on those very places just to establish that their that their religion is more forceful than the other. The people in different religions had been coming forward and had been competing amongst each other telling the others that more good principles are written in their religious books and such things are not available in religious books of other religions.

The world is divided on the basis of religion. We had seen that here in this sub region there had been a partition worst in the history of mankind in which millions of people had been killed and millions had been forced to migrate to unknown places in the year 1947 and since India and Pakistan had been at war and they are killing people without any target and without any achievement. If we go deep this war of 1947, 1965 and of 1971 between India and Pakistan had been there because of religion and this war shall continue for centuries on the basis of religion and this war between India and Pakistan would not allow India to become a nation.

So we shall have to accept and admit that religions could not correct this man and will not be able to correct this man. Rather, in the near future, this religion shall play worst role in the world and the next world war, if at all it shall be there, it shall be amongst two religions and they shall try to root out the other religion. The days are over when these religions had been functioning giving guidance to the man to live in peace and seek way to God.

Dalip Singh Wasan asked:

Religions played worst role in India.

Dalip Singh Wasan, Advocate.

Originally in India there was only one religion and that was Hinduism. In due course some countries had been trying their luck to settle and they had been successful and in due course Muslims and then Christians came here and they actually settled here. It is on record that they established their rule in India and therefore, they started converting people to their own religion. They were of the opinion that their religions were better and therefore, the Hindus should convert and the people who came under their influence converted and the people who were not coming under the influence did not convert. It is on record that monarch like Aurangzeb started converting people with force and he had been successful to some extent. In due course, the Dalits who had been part of Hinduism started separating from the main stream because the mainstream was not giving them due place and due respect.

The people of India had been slaves for centuries, firstly under the Muslims and then under the Christians and when they were getting independence in the year 1947, a part of the Muslims started demanding a separate country for Muslims and therefore, they could get Pakistan and it is on record that about 8,00,000 were killed during this partition, the biggest upheaval in this sub region. We have also been told that about 11,00,00,000 people were forced to migrate to unknown places. This was the first blow to the people of Hindustan in the year 1947. Had there been one religion, this upheaval, these killings and these migrations could have been avoided. And we should note that the matter did not end here. Since 1947 India and Pakistan are at war and we have noted that all our efforts to establish peace in between the two countries have failed and it is on record that both these countries have fought some direct wars and when Pakistan could not win in direct wars, it has initiated a proxy war against India through Kashmir, part of which has already been occupied by Pakistan.

Pakistan was also holding an eastern part which has gained the status of a separate country Bangladesh and the people of Pakistan believe that this part had been separated by India. Therefore, Pakistan wants that India too should be divided. Pakistan wants that India should be divided into three parts. One part should be of Hindus, one part should be Sikhs and the third part should be of Muslims. And virtually Pakistan has tried its luck in these directions. The people of India have already suffered during Punjab episode and they lost heir Prime Minister because of this episode. In this episode thousands of our people had been killed with our own hands and we had destroyed properties worth crore of rupees. Khalistan could not be established, but it is on record that the Sikh community which had a reputation of its own has lost that prestige and now they are under the shadow of doubt. The Sikhs living out of the state of Punjab remain under a fear and if anything happens in the state of Punjab, they come under fear complex because they had suffered much during November, 1984 riots when they were killed mercilessly. Similar is the position with the Muslims. They had seen that their Babri Masjid had been demolished, then they had to carry out some bombings in Bombay and similarly when there was Godhra episode, they had to suffer in Gujrat riots.

The Indians are divided and if we go further the Dalits are not happy with India because they could not get a reasonable place in the Indian society and they are still called a separate class and people from the socalled higher classes do not allow their wards to contract marriages with these people. Even these people are allotted separate colonies and the people from the so called higher societies do not allow that their children should have any connection with the children of the dalits. The people of India remain under a fear and they expect terrorism and riots at any time in the country. Some people in India have started believing that the state itself is believing in divide and rule, the principle laid down and accepted by the British when they started ruling this country. We are allotting seats to people as per population of the area and if we find that Hindus are in majority, we allot ticket to a Hindu, if we note that Muslims are in majority, we allot the ticket to the Muslim, if Sikhs are in majority, we allot the ticket to a Sikh and similarly people known as Dalits get their own man. We still believe that a Hindu would not give vote to a non-Hindu, a Sikh would not vote to a non-sikh and similarly the Muslims shall like their own candidate. Under these situations, we cannot expect that the people of India shall join and that is the reason, we are accepting that religion here in India did not remain an individual concern, but it is now political problem and therefore, we must accept that here in India, politicians have polluted the religions and that is the reason, the same purity is not available in religions. We are noting that in religious places, when some people are talking about religion and God, they are also speaking about politics and we have seen that the politicians in India are visiting these religious places not out of regard and respect, but they are seeking blessings of the people holding discourses there.

There had been trials to unite the people. Akbar the great wanted to establish one religion, but people of his own religion did not allow him to establish that religion and become head of that religion. Then the fifth Guru of the Sikhs Shri Guru Arjan Dev ji initiated towards this path when he established Shri Guru grtanth sahib in which works of saints of all the religions was collected. But later on this Granth had been owned only by the Sikhs and people in other religions could not adopt this grant as a guiding spirit for them.

Today the people are India are trying to popularize their own religions and for that purpose they are establishing units of their own, collecting people there, are having their own religious discourses, are breeding fundamentalists and a time shall come when they shall fight and kill each other. We must be sorry to note that the Muslims are having soft corner for the state of Pakistan and the Sikhs are under doubt. The dalits are also establishing a join front and they are also separating themselves. This position and situation is not good for India and therefore, the government of India must take effective steps to unite the people of India and if they too remain believing in divide and rule policy, they shall disturb the unity of this country. Wise people of India must come forward and must see the danger ahead and they must solve this problem without any further delay. The people of Hindustan have already suffered much and they are not in a position to have further sufferings because they are already living on the heap of corps. They are fighting on the basis of religions when other countries are advancing and they are leaving us behind.
