Your answer is C because their temples were created for the sacrifice of its victims to appease the gods. Sometimes the victims were young children. The victim was killed by cutting out heart while he/she was still alive. It was also the custom for the priest to eat the victim’s heart right after it was removed. I think this is based upon the belief that strength could be acquired in this way.
