    usually Roman catholic, the atheisists were beheaded

    well they burned young girls because they were witches.
    atheists punished (hanged in the gallows or beheaded)

    They were either Roman Catholic or were considered heretics and were Excommunicated from the city (kicked out). Most went to other countries to do other religions, but much was spread into london VIA the trading going on with people from foreign countries.

    Protestant Church of England… In the 16th century, Henry the VIII needed a divorce performed, which the Catholc church wouldn’t perfom (England was Catholic at the time), so he broke off and created the (basically protestant) Church of England. 17th century was COE
