jesus
Elizabeth asked:

I’ve never seen anyone die then get buried then come back alive so how it is realistically possible for Jesus to do the same? Did he have the exact same human body or system as all human beings do? Once you’re dead, you’re dead…. unless you’re at a hospital and doctors pump your heart from CPR or give you meds or shock your heart to bring you back to life but if you’re just so totally dead, brain-dead, nothing in the body works, then how is it possible Jesus died then came back alive? Was it maybe his heart stopped and wasn’t brain dead then just recovered or what?

It’s not scientifically possible. It’s just a matter of faith, and whether you are a Christian or not.

Hey if jack can climb up a bean sprout why cant jesus raise from the dead?

  3. Spicy Sausage on July 4th, 2008 6:05 am

He rose in spirit. I believe the whole thing is a symbolic metaphor. You know like when your grandpa dies and you see his ghost, etc. Same thing, people saw the holy ghost, holy spirit.. etc

Those with faith believe he is capable of everything. Going by that, of course he can come back from the dead.

he was equal parts human and God. God can do anything. his resurrection was a miracle.

well if you die the doctors can retreive you within the next minute. so you can die and come back from the dead.

I don’t know how to explain the Jesus part. It is an interesting question and i have the feeling that i should know this sort of things.

But this is as much as i can give you. Jesus is magical. its Faith. i don’t think he was buried and he came back form underground. i beleive he died. his body on the ground with a miracle he became immortal.

Faith. You either believe he did or you don’t. Human science has nothing to do with His Resurrection.

Don’t think about it too much. It’s fiction.
There are so many contradictions and impossibilities with religious belief, that it renders any simple question into one that can never be answered.

It’s only possible if you believe it happened in your mind. Christians believe this occured because of stories passed down from years and years and years of story-telling. The stories have all obviously changed throughout the years, just like any other old tale.

They can justify their beliefs in this by calling it “faith”.

dude … its possible … cause its a FAKE story. It religion k… how much of it is really true? get real. stop analyzing such stuff… its is not worth it . if you believe in your faith, keep doing so without question it …
if you dont … there are way better things to do than analyse this stuff!!

  11. G on July 12th, 2008 3:46 pm

It was a miracle from god…….
if you don’t believe, you probably wont like the answer.
I find it harder to believe that the world and the heavens just happened by accident…..
    think about it???????????????????????

the thing is that jesus is a myth just like religion. why do u think there are different religions? because not everyone believes that and no one can prove it.

  13. striking_heroine on July 19th, 2008 12:07 pm

why is this question in health? anyhow, because if you believe in Christ, you’ll believe He can do the impossible! Happy Easter!

  14. sugarsugar on July 22nd, 2008 7:45 am

Because Jesus Christ is God , and for God there’s nothing impossible dear Elizabeth. God is Love too as for Love there’s nothing impossible too.

That’s a miracle of God. It’s part of a unique plan and prophecy that was fulfilled. It symbollizes that the old body / self of man was that was buried; when he / she came to know Jesus as saviour and Lord of their lives, the new body “rose.” Jesus came to earth IN THE FORM of a man to be more “identifiable” to the mankind he created. In reality, he is a spirit that dwells among us and walks closely/ lives within the hearts of all who accept him.

Nothing at all to do with medical science period.
All to do with miracle-which is why there are still miracles to this day-which many people do not believe .
But if you research you will find that many many people have ben given no hope of living and then they are fine and the problem they had is gone and even the best drs have no explanation and they say it is a medical miracle—still nothing to do with medical things -only faith-anything is possible if we put it in gods hands.

Jesus was the Son of God who came down to earth in human form. It’s not scientifically possible to explain how He was resurrected, but it is through faith alone that I as a Christian believe he rose again. He came back from the dead because He wasn’t originally mortal like the rest of us, rather He surpassed all human limits because he was God in a human body. With that, nothing is impossible for Him.

What causes gravity?Where do electrons come from? How do they maintain their energy? How does life exist from inanimate matter? Lots of questions we have no real answers to.

Jesus said he was the pre-existing multi-dimensional being that made everything and all things are held together by the power of his word, that is spirit and life, so it would follow that he know the intricacies and dynamics of a resurrected body and eternal soul. There is no obvious medical answer to your question.

Um. The Jesus raising from the dead is purely faith-based. If you have faith in God through Jesus, then that’s basically your answer. CPR? Last time I checked, there is no such documented evidence that such a procedures or procedures you’ve indicated in your inquiry, ever took place. Beware of false teaching if that is what you have been told.

Unfortunately, I am not a Christian, but have done my fair share of research in Theology. To get more ‘expert’ answers to your question, I would highly recommend that you research this topic by visiting any one of the following websites:
    – John MacArthur, Jr. Sr. Pastor of Grace Community Church in Panorama City , CA 91412
    – Dr. Tony Evans, Senior Pastor, Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship and President, The Urban Alternative in Dallas, TX 75208-0560

    Good luck.
