Anshun asked:

Bible students have known for sure that Jesus Christ will return to rule over the world, to bring permanent peace. Does it seem this is the generation He is coming? Let us get ready to welcome Him as Prince of Peace.

  2. funkydavie on July 21st, 2008 11:05 pm

No,he died, there’s nothing we can do about it.
God wants us to change by ourselves.
God wants us to become good and decide what’s wrong or right
    BY OURSELVES.
So, Jesus Christ is never coming back.

The last time he was here, he got crucified. Do you really think he’d WANT to come back??

  10. vrocks on August 5th, 2008 4:10 am

He will come back and when He does, We’ll all know it in our hearts. PS.He won’t rule the world. He’ll help the world… oh yah… He is here. He’s always been. in our hearts and souls…

I’m not sure he will physically return but nonetheless he is always here in spirit.

I dont think God will allow him to return. Think of this Jesus is the SON of God.. but some freaks started worshipping him AS God.. well since we all know God has told us long ago (told Moses to tell us infact) Thou shalt have NO God but ME!!!
so that would make worshipping Jesus as though he were a God to be BLASPHEMOUS.. therefore God would NEVER allow Jesus to return to earth.

Other prophets have been put into GOd like worship and none of them returned either.. just look at earlier Prophet Buddah.. since Jesus, God sent Mohammed as a Prophet, I think this was him basically telling humans to “F-off” of worshipping Jesus and calling him “god”

You fool. No offense. But, you fool. That’s what the poor Jews thought 2000 years ago. Christ apparently has no interest in ruling the earth, that’s strictly the job for power hungry men. Prophesies are NEVER fulfilled in exactly the way anyone is expecting them, especially if you’re expecting some long haired dude in a bathrobe to come down from the clouds and make everything wonderful. Can’t happen, as long as there is free will.

I agree with you we are the last generation. I’m 33 and I believe that I wont see die a physical death, but see the LORDS return. just read the prophecy’s IN the bible its all coming to past. come Lord Jesus come quickly.

Isn’t he already here, search your SELF, not outside. U will find me in your heart.
Rule the world, no way, ruling the world is a dream of beggars no King, he is a king, remember.
    Love

    don’t hold your breath.

every generation in every religion has been waiting for someone to come and solve all their problems for them: it’s called the the magic bullet solution… most hollywood movies work on this principal.

it’ll happen (whether you wait for Jesus or the Mahdi), but like i said…don’t hold your breath.

whether or not we believe in God which either way are choices, everything the Bible says is being fullfilled to date-wars,poverty and the least goes on.Instead of questioning if or when Christ Jesus comes, which shall be fulfilled, shouldn’t we hope that by his Grace and Mercy we will be ready for his unknown time.

We should treat each day as if it is The Day that Christ is returning. But even Christ told us that no man shall know the day or the hour, only God knows. Jesus told the disciples that He would be returning “soon.” That was 2,000 years ago. Clearly there is a big difference in what God and humans mean by soon. We may very well be in the end times. That’s why it saddens me so when I see so many unbelievers in this forum.

He’s coming back a lot sooner than people think. People will be surprised. The Bible says that one of the final prophecies is that even the elect will say it’s been too long and He isn’t returning. Well I’ve seen many churches saying that and by doing so they are fulfilling this prophecy
