Science is fact religion is fiction they are two different things

Their lack-luster ability to co-exist. I think you can be deeply religious and still be firm believer in the many scientific ideas that are rejected by religious groups; such as evolution.

It’s just a shame that the ones speaking for their cause and against the other, can’t embrace each other and co-exist.

So, it is less about the actual idea of science and religion – but more about the institution of both, and the people running them.
They are the ones constantly creating the conflict of co-existence.

Both are real–the difference between people is that they don’t understand each other, they miss the point of it all. Science proves objectivity but doesn’t prove the existence of God. Religion proves science and the existence of God. It’s like the mind/body duelism. To have faith you have to try for it, you have to give in to it, you have to want it. To have science you simply have to understand the correlation between gathered facts. Sure, i’ll be the first one to say that science doesn’t prove the existence of God. But what proves the existence of science?

science and religion are two things standing on the same ground looking into two different views.two things which actually is in quest for the same truth…however, science asks you to give facts to support that truth while religion says you have to believe to see the truth.some say religion is a science while others argue that science is a religion.

religion relies on the thousand of years of belief transformed into reality while science continue to search for his truth.religion asks you to believe in miracles while science tells you the theories behind it.

my point of view then is science,despite of the differences with religion, must accept the fact that religion has proven that yes there is truth in their beliefs, and when it comes to religion, i dont think they have problems dealing with the truth of science.

They are more alike than different. Each claims to hold THE route to ultimate truth. Science believes it holds the method that reveals ultimate truth. Religion believe it has recieved ultimate truth from a divine authority.

If either acknowledges the claims of the other, each risks falling apart. Science calls into question “truth” of scripture and religion and therefore threatens divinity. Religion threatens to undermine scientifici objectivity through “supersitition” and “irrationality.”

In short, they are competing metaphysical systems that cannot “give an inch”.

All of religion is simply belief. Science deals with facts. Nothing in religion can be proven. Science demands proof.
Religion believes in part human, part bird beings, Science says that’s impossible. Religion says that you can mumble a prayer, and someone zillions of miles away “God” can hear it. Science says,”No way”.
Religion believes in a soul. None has ever been found. Religion says that a sub-microscopic soul can inflate to a full sized human. Science can’t even imagine such a thing.
The whole idea of religion is that you don’t actually ever die. To a scientist, we’re the same as all the other things on earth. Death is the final end for us, the other animals, trees, weeds, bugs, everything.

To prove a theory and that is the scien then the person of faith and they think it is free will and not proof , But they are finding OUT there is a supreme being we say it is GOD and they say ID{Intelligent design of ?????
