Are Freaks called that for good reason or is the world mad at them for being so rediculous. Even Christians are embarressed by the infentile behavior of people who are gonnabe raptured.

   The term Jesus Freak is used in many contexts over time.

   The belief that one is going to be raptures could make you a Jesus Freak while there is no specific doctrine of the Jesus Freak. Most that I have met were post trib people but that is an unscientific survey and might not reflect reality.

   A true Jesus Freak believes that people are going to hell and that it is their duty and obligation to save them at all costs.

   This can lead to extrema activities and austere life styles typically identified with the term. Especially the commune living typical of the Jesus Freak. Hallelujah House, Paris Ranch and Jesus People USA.

   These Jesus enthusiasts are usually careful in what they say and studied in the scriptures. They usually could care less about creationism and and divisive controversial issues as they only have time to save your soul and these foolish wastes of time do not tend to accomplish that goal.

   They would be more interested in your finding a personal experience with the saviors that makes Him real to you on your level of understanding.

   He would want you to ask Jesus to prove himself to you. He would tell you if you will be real to God, God will prove Himself real to you.

   I doubt you have ever spoken to a true Jesus Freak

   until now.

   ok, first of all, stop stereotyping. Jesus said the world hated Him because He was not of the world. He said the world would **** us, Christians, because we told them their ways were evil. Jesus told us we were not of the world, and that our home was in heaven. You know what else He said? The ruler of this world is the devil. I’m thinking I’d rather NOT be from the world, aren’t you?

   Going to heaven is a wonderful thing- being in God’s presence and feeling His absolute love while face to face would be incredible. Are you saying you don’t want to be raptured? Do you even know what that means? It’s being left behind on earth for the end of the world. That’s the reign of the AntiChrist, experiencing many plagues, living through hundreds of wars. I dare you to pick up the bible and read Revelation to see what you talked yourself into.

   We’re being ridiculus? You’re the one bashing our religion- which happens to be the only true one- online and talking about how you want to go to hell. Jesus said He was The Way, The Truth, and The Life. “No one comes to the Father except through me.” If He’s the only way to to our true home in heaven, and to the God who loves us, then yeah- I think I’d rather be a freak. Wouldnt you?

   By the way, the bible says hell is an everlasting, concious punishment. It’s where you are literally burning for all eternity. And forget about those stupid little pictures of the devil and his minions torturing you there or whatever. Even Satan doesn’t want to go to hell. But if you read your bible, at the end, that’s exactly where God is going to throw him. Since we already know the end of the story and who’s going to win, it would be stupid to bet on the wrong horse. And thats what your doing. and THEN your making fun of the people that choose the only correct way. You are the ridiculus one. But you know what? God loves you anyway and wants you to love Him like He loves you :] He wants to forgive you and make your home in heaven. It’s your choice.

   Those in philosophy seek by thinking, their comments are a result of their thinking, while those in religion just believe, even that all thinking is futile, and just quote scriptures as their comments.

   Those interested in philosophy tend to be, or at least make an effort to be, objective thinkers. Many also are not so burdened by religious beliefs that they are unable to see the criticisms of those beliefs.

   Religious believers see the world in black and white, either you are for their beliefs or you are against it. As such, they are interested only in defending and promoting their beliefs, and are unable to accept any criticism of those beliefs.

    All religions have their fanatics. Street philosophy does too. For example, people sometimes take on pessimistic nihilism fanatically.

    Religious questions make the religious fanatics stand out the most.
