baptism meant to take a bath. No other meaning. It has been tweaked to mean something the church can charge you for.

You must be Catholic. I was raised Catholic, and the Catholic church teaches that baptism washes away original sin.

You are very astute in questioning this. Why would Jesus need to be baptised if that were true? The answer is: Baptism DOES NOT wash away original sin. Jesus was baptised to give us an example of what to do when we decide to start a life following Jesus.
Baptism represents the death, burial & resurection, not only of Jesus.
It is simply a ceremony that we go through to show our commitment to following Jesus.

If you read the Old testament, you find a very hard, jealous, wrath full god, with allot of sacrifice going on.
Jesus, whether supper natural or only man,
Changed the view of many believers, and gave us a more loving and forgiving God to believe in.
He done many strange things but it worked out for the better.

WHOAH…. Mary was sinful…..She was a virgin. Let’s keep that straight. Jesus came to forgive us our sins and show us the way to heaven. This was one of many things that he did to show us the way to the kingdom of God.
