Lutheran has been the official religion of Sweden for 85 years. Now they have added as second official religion–Muslim. Is that right or wrong? What do you think?

   Sweden can do anything they want in my book. I could care less. They also made it legal to abort your children if it’s not the gender you wanted.

   Sweden will be a mix between China and Iran. Won’t that be lovely?
   Who cares, Western Europe is dead.

   I didn’t realize “Muslim” was a religion.

   I thought “Muslim” was the name for people who practiced Islam.

   Misunderstood Romulan: the Netherlands legalized drugs, not Sweden.

   See it’s true…we learn something new everyday.

   Muslim is a person, the name of the religion is Islam. If they have that many practitioners why wouldn’t they make it official?

   Wrong! I think the legalized drugs have eaten away at their brains! Islam is for Muslims. The last time I checked, most of the people there are European. But I guess liberals tend to be atheists anyway, and that just paves the way for more evil.

   EDIT: Thanks Pastor of Muppets, Sweden has a very good zero tolerance policy, I don’t know why they would make Islam official. It would be like the US saying Spanish is an official language. They have simply gone insane!

   you see, this is how people in the west deal with things they have an aberration towards. they just avoid it… i am not going to put a vest made of C4 on and kill a thousand people. because i am civilized.

    Sweden doesn’t have legalized drugs.
    It’s one of the most strict anti-drug laws in the world.
    You can’t even say you use drugs as joke, you could get fined or arrested.
    Just ask Steve-O who spent 30 days in jail in Sweden for a stand-up act he did where he said he was stoned.
    BTW, this qustion is a ruse to prove how gulible people are.
    Sweden did not make Islam an official religion.
    Thanks for proving the human race is in a downward spiral of ignorance and stupidity.

    All the men in Sweden left hundreds of years ago to settle in Britain and Russia.

    I would say wrong, only in that the consensus of the Swedish people would not support this (based on reports I’ve read).

    I don’t think religion should be shoved onto any society. Especially when the society as a majority, doesn’t think the religion is compatible with their values as a society.

    I’m against forced religion, even if only in recognition, and however nominal, by the state.

    Theoretically? It’s wrong. Lutheranism was removed as the state religion in 2000, and for good reason. Separation of church and state is the key!

    Oh have we now? That’s interesting, did you hear that from fox news or something?? God those journalists *cou-BULLSHIT-gh* are the very best and brightest. It’s so good to see that at least there is at least one news network out there that can say the truth of how things REALLY are, that at least one news network is unbiased, religiously and politically non-aligned, not patriotic or nationalistic, one that has the true and accurate facts on things, whose “journalists” are educated and smart and so on and on and on and on. Continue to get “facts” from there, please, ppl like you entertain me. If someone blew up fox I would demand a worldwide holiday to celebrate that explosion.

    We will NEVER let Islam become a state religion, we’d rather die, much rather kill. Get it? It hasn’t and will NEVER EVER happen.

    Edit to whoever said urinals are illegal: I used one today at the mall, seemed like it existed to me but maybe I somehow got high and hallucinated it was there.
