The conflict is human. Some humans see no conflict though. For some religion is their science and for some science is their religion. They are two words representing activities that are so intertwined through mutual interchanges where one abstracts and constructs on the back of the other. Where one ends the other begins. Where religion is an ideal science helps in perfecting that ideal. Where science is a method whereupon that ideal is reached.

The only difference between is one grows and expands (by that I mean new theories are concocted that rely on the present day) and the other stays the same forever, until it decides the steal the others theories and claim them to be part of the religion (mostly Christianity religion that steals). However you can’t really deal with either them, the tug of war must continue on until one has a victory on their terms.

Ok…Science is in denial. There is hard evidence that what religion says is true. Science believes in evolution even though that theory is becoming more and more irrelevant. Religion believes in creationalism.

Intelligent Design vs. evolution is the big conflict.

But I don’t really see why Intelligent Design conflicts with evolution.
