What makes you believe that your religion is the right religion? You were most likely just born into that religion. Why do you think that you are right and the hundreds of other religions are wrong?

    Circular reasoning.

I have thought about it as I’m a muslim, I’ve decided that when I’m done with school, I will plan to learn about other religions so then I would know what beliefs are there.

    1. It’s right for me because it fits me. I feel the peace and love that being on the correct path brings.

    2. I was not born into my religion.

    3. I don’t actually think other religions are wrong…only wrong for me. I firmly beleive that each person has to find their own way in life. My way is simply my way and isn’t necessarily the answer for everyone else.

Personal experience tells me that my religion is A right religion. Just because mine is right, however, does not mean all others are wrong. And for the record, no, I wasn’t born into it.

If your asking what CONVINCES me that GOD is real is when I wake up everyday and feel the cool fresh air blowing in my face. As for my religion being the correct I feel that there is no right or wrong RELIGION because I have found the exceptance of God in my Heart, I dont need to question the Torah Bible or Quran I know that I am a GOOD CHRISTIAN because of this I dont judge that is Gods job. And I think when we all die Muslim or Hindu we’re all going to the same place @ the end

because my religion is one of the only ones that has a living God who never dies,
because you look outside and know it cant simply be evolution
because the bible predicts several things that have and will come true
because when you make the choice to believe what i believe
you genuienly feel the change and joy. its not just some overdramatic thing. you really do. nobody ever regrets it.
because God has answered prayers and done miracles in my life,
because the bible assures it. because when i dont read and pray, i can feel the distance from God.
    several reasons

My religion is the greatest story ever told. 2nd greatest is Moses and the Exodus which happens to be a shadow of the greatest story ever told – the story of Jesus Christ. Any other story out there that could even hit 3rd are strongly influenced by Christianity anyway, such as any great work by Shakespeare or Dickens, which pale in comparison to the 2 greatest stories ever told.

Mankind is hopelessly mediocre, and no work by man can captivate billions people, to the point of obsession, for over 2000 years, approaching a worldwide scale, other than the story of Jesus of Nazareth. No man has ever written truth or fiction that even comes close to having the impact of the greatest story ever told, the story of the 3.5 yr ministry of Jesus of Nazareth, Son of God, Lord and Savior.

If that’s not the work of God, then nothing is.

Religion and spirituality are not the same thing so I presume you mean the church or faith you commit to. My faith feels right for me because it answers all of my questions about God, has a long standing tradition backed by Biblical text and isn’t afraid to go against mainstream society when acknoledging the theology of the church.

I don’t feel comfortable in wishy-washy faiths that waffle with societie’s whims. I have read much and investigated on most other faiths in Chrisitianity and all others that are not such as Buddhists, Muslims, etc. There are things in the others that trouble me.

I feel a sense of peace, a feeling of awe and absolute reverence when practicing my faith within the religious community I have chosen that I didn’t get from other groups within Chrisitianity.

My family was of this faith too, however, I think being “born” into a faith isn’t exactly the right phrasing. Maybe, being raised to believe in that faith. As adults we either take the faith on as our own, or we try something else. I chose to make it my own after serious reflection and prayer.

I think other Christian likely feel the same about their church. The question you must be able to answer with a resounding yes is, “Am I complete and in communion with God in this faith?” If so, you’re right!

Because all my questions have been answered straight from the bible, no stupid “because it is so” or “only god understands” “thats how god wanted it” junk. Just understandable answers that work.
And the feeling of the truth is so strong I could never imagine anything else. Even though I have looked and they all seem worthless in comparison. Stupid ideas and hypocrisy. I cant handle that.
Im a jehovahs witness, not born into it, had my time to look around at other religions before this and am never changing.
