At last count 304 of them, and that’s not counting all the little mom-and-pop denominations, especially down in the Bible Zone.

Does Jesus love all his denominations?

Does he sit back in his big easy holy chair and congratulate himself on the sheer number of them?

   There are actually at least 33,380 different Protestant denominations.

   (Matthew 7:22-23) Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ 23 And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness.

   That is what Jesus thinks.

   jesus loves all, but he doesn’t force people to love him.
   that’s why he is the good shepherd, leaves the good to save the lost
