Hans~Crazy about ‘Always

You could state what the religion you belong to is.How much do you let it interfere?Could you give some examples? Are all of your beliefs and decisions ‘compatible’? Do you feel guilty if some of them are not?
Looks like there are more atheists in this section than religious…you’re enjoying this,no?lol..

    Buddhist.

It doesn’t interfere with my life. It is the framework in which I live my life.

Buddhists don’t have the same concept of sin and dogma as Christians, so the compatibility question is hard to answer. There is no guilt.

I am roman catholic. My faith is the center of my life in the sense that I strive to find the will of God and fulfill it in my day to day life. My faith is what gives my life meaning and value.

    i am a Jew
it probably take my whole life
as i just design my whole life to the way in which i follow it’s teachings
ones i start eating i say on the food certain Jewish blessings ones i’m over eating i also start saying certain blessings on the food i ate
before i go to sleep i read Tehilim when i wake up i read blessings
there is the morning prayer the afternoon prayer and the night prayer
on the Sabbath day i shall spend all my time studying the sacred texts
and yeah – i believe all my beliefs and decisions are compatible!
and i don’t see why shall i feel any guilt for my worship!

I better be careful how I answer this, cause Y & A have been taking my answer off, ah but who gives a sh-t.
No religion has not played a big part in my life as in a positive way.
I was born a Catholic, and was geared to be a priest, but thank, God that the 60′s came along and I rebelled. I was molested by a priest and that is another story. But I don’t hold that against the church, one man does not make a church. And I learned to forgive many years later, through my Native believes. [No I'm not Native], but I welcomed their way of life into my life very openly. I never feel guilty, man is made by mistakes. And that is how we learn, without mistakes we would know nothing. We are who we are and that is that. It’s all in how we use our knowledge in the life we live. I don’t put down what others believe or don’t believe. Man has his own choices and long as that choice does not hurt anyone else, then who am I to say they are wrong in what ever their beliefs are.
Well I hope this gets posted, but if not live does go on, and Y & A is not my Chapel.
    take care
    dave
