Please state your religion and what you doubt.
It is perfectly alright to question your religion, “if no one questioned, it wouldn’t exist” A quote be me.

I am never afraid to challenge my faith, I have yet to lose it.

I question my religion on a daily basis. I have been having extreme doubts and questions lately. I’m a Roman Catholic. I don’t believe a number of my church’s own doctrines, but it goes far beyond that. I’m struggling with Christianity in general. I don’t even know where to begin. I find much of the behavior in the Old Testament inexcusable. I think some of the ideas set forth in the Pauline epistles are vulgar and backwards. I loathe the way my religion has been hijacked by Fundamentalists and turned into an excuse for hatred and bigotry. I support the ordination of female clergy. I disagree with my church’s ban on birth control. I don’t believe in Satan. I support *** rights. I believe that animals have souls. I’m getting very disillusioned with Christianity, but don’t know if I’m fully ready to leave it. But another belief system seems rather appealing to me.

Christian~ I question a lot of things in the OT. A lot of the laws and things of that nature. Also the difference in Satan from the OT to the NT. There are some other things too.

I left shortly after I began to ask questions.

Everyone doubts at some point or another. This shows that you are critically thinking trough and maturing in your faith.

Even Peter denied Christ; yet he lived on to be martyred for his faith.

    I’m Catholic.
In my younger years, there were some things that I questioned, but I now realize I questioned them because of my own ignorance, arrogance or selfishness. I also realized that I truly do not know as much as I thought I did.

One thing I wasn’t quite sure about was how God was to be worshipped. I used to think that there were many paths to the goal, but I realized that this was a human standard. And then I realized that I was completely dependent on God, just like a newborn is completely dependent on their parents.

    Very humbling.

    Very True.

And it lead me to understand that God wants us to worship in certain ways, and we have to find out what those ways are.
Well, He made it simple–He told us. Through the Bible, through Jesus, through the apostles and through the Church.

I’m a pagan and I have doubts sometimes.
However, I am not fixed in a certain belief. My beliefs change and grow all the time as I learn, ask questions, philosophize, have new experiences, etc.

I’m Roman Catholic. I support the Church in the no female stance and I support the ban on birth control. I do believe in Satan.

My struggles is believing. I find many questions are unanswered and sometimes it’s hard to have faith.

I work in my church and I know and see corruptness. No, nothing to do with the child-molestation. Another thing I have trouble with is how many Catholic-hating people, ESPECIALLY the mainstream media in America, misrepresent the Church and even here people say we worship Mary, etc.

I can tell you bad things about my faith like the corruptness, but also others. I won’t because if I do, some Catholic-hating person will use it against me. You really have to look at both sides.

For instance, “Catholic priests molest children” is false. From 1950-2002 about 1-4% of priests were charged.

You should always question, that’s how you grow.

I always question, but I have not doubted in about fifteen years.

I am deist. The nice thing about it is that it begins from a position of humility and doesn’t pretend to have all the answers. Therefore I don’t question it often.
