I know that this world has given religion a chance and so far it’s still as wicked as it’s always been. So then, how would the world become less wicked without religion?

   Well we wouldn’t have as many charities, or hospitals and libraries. Wouldn’t that be awesome?

   we would stop argueing over whose religion is right….thta is a great big improvement ……..also we may not worry so much about what happens after death….

   I think backwards theocracies would get into gear and start making advances in science and education, as well as foreign policy. We’d also probably have less ‘ethnic cleansing’ going on in the world.

   Religion is an individual experience. You can see the effect religion or the lack thereof can have on one family and one home in one generation for good or evil.

   Cultures take longer to see the effect. As a whole the world is beginning to reject religion. It will take a few generations to see the moral decline. Most of what is good about he world morally is founded on “religious” principles.

   Take God out of you life and see how that affects the world.

   We shall see.

   Religion is not the only way to find spirituality and good things in life. Why do you guys feel so important???

   The world without religion would actually be better, with less hypocrisy, less **** within the families with different beliefs, less lies.

   Not much I’m afraid to say.Human nature is human nature,and people would still find different reasons to kill each other.

   It would be a mix – good and bad.

   Religions teach morality, and that teaching mode would be lost to the world.

   On the other hand, there is still a lot of killing of innocent people by those who feel they are appeasing a god or getting a reward after death. That would stop.

    Well when we stop fighting over what religion is correct and all convert to atheism, we start arguing and fighting over what to call our atheist group. It’s not really an improvement, in fact we kind of get bombed by otters, who insist we call ourselves the Allied Atheist Alliance.

    there are social parameters that have been invoked by religion. You can see the change in the last forty years as those limits have dissolved. Ask someone who’s been around what has changed, and then extrapolate what society will be like at this pace in 40 yrs

    It wouldn’t, plain and simple. Also, it’s not religion, it’s Christianity. There will always wickedness in this world. There always has been and always will be. The Bible tells us in the last days that it will get worse. Without the love of God in this world, you think it’s bad now, you would see violence on the streets and crime go rampant like never before. That’s why people need to turn to God and repent before it’s too late.

    Those who kill in the name of their god would have to find something peacable to do.

    Never forget that the 9/11 outrage was done In The Name Of God. It does not matter which god.

    we could take out the countless deaths from people fighting over who has the right god, is that a good enough start.
