jesus religion
.

Why did Jesus preach principles(religion)

was Jesus a reason for the worst invention in the world

religion means

the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, esp. a
personal God or gods

Why did he say that religion is the worst invention and why did he preach about God
that sounds totally absurd.
what do you think.
Look he said that the worst invention of humanity is religion(principles)
Then why did he preach his principles.

Where is Jesus quoted as saying that ?

  5. Maars on December 27th, 2008 8:24 pm

He spoke in parables. He told stories. He used illustrations. Why are you questioning him and finding fault in a sinless man who died for you?

I think Nietzsche said something similar, Jesus warned against the adulation of idols and false prophets profiting from the people need for stability an leadership without actually improving the lot of man.

What he was probably trying to say is that people shouldn’t try to recreate or decipher things that were being preached. That is how different religion’s start. They take something that was said and done and try to twist it into something it is not. Religions are almost all false with a hint of truth. They all try to break things down and perceive things in a different light when it really isn’t necessary at all. He obviously still wants you to believe in what he is saying but don’t make it more complicated than it has to be.

well if he did say that it was probably because people get so upset that others dont believe in there religion and maybe what Jesus was saying to just pray to one god and he knew that religion was just going to make people not be nice to one another due to there beliefs as some religions only think that there religion is the right one when in fact we all pray to the same god there is only one no matter which religion you want to believe in it’s all the same god

  16. Danny V on January 13th, 2009 11:28 pm

The difference between creation and invention is that God created everything and man invented things from His creations.

He never said that. I don’t know where you got that from. Whatever you read you must have misinterpreted it.
Read this scripture, it says quite the opposite:

    James 1: 26-27
26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

I think he knew that dogma would always bring about stupid and crazy **** for humanity and told people beware of organized religion that would come, people listened…wrote it down altered it over time, put it in book’s ,plus i don’t think he was preaching he was being completely honest with himself and his life without a thought letting life flow thru him

  21. Rev. Laura on January 19th, 2009 9:34 am

Jesus did not teach Religion. Principles and Religion are two different things. He taught a better way of life through one God. Where as before he came along most religions were based on more than one God and their female companions.

This all assuming he even was a real man and that the bible isn’t anything more than a Book.

If Jesus lived, and the bible is correct in his teachings, he could be considered the best cult leader in history
