I need to know how (in the subject of religion) are the mayan people and the egyptions alike

   They were both polytheists. That’s about all I know…

   They were astrologers and worshiped the sun, moon, and stars.

   Egypt was settled by the descendants of Noah’s son Ham. So they had some of the gospel but keep in mind that Ham was cursed, so he didn’t have the priesthood.

   The Book of Mormon records a civilization that was founded by decedents of Lehi a prophet who’s family left Jerusalem shortly before the babylonian captivity. This would account for an incredible amount of similarities.
