jesus
the chosen one asked:

Who did Jesus reject from partaking in the first Eucharist at the last supper because they were not of His denomination? Why then are we doing this today?

Christianity has stolen practices from other religions

I think the whole Eucharist thing came from Mithraism

    Jesus was a Jew though

That’s funny concidering jesus was a jew and didn’t want a new religion. Every christian rejects the old testament, but Jesus was trying to get them BACK to the words of the old testament, so the joke is on EVERYONE except the Jews for Jesus. How ironic is that!

Yeah Jesus was Jewish, but the original Christian faith is Catholic. Constantine was the first to organize the church, before that Christians were just a loosely formed group of people following the teachings of Jesus.

Jesus was Jewish. And the only people in the upper room with him were the 12 Apostles. All of them received the first Eucharist. Even Judas his betrayer.

people are not answering this question properly. the asker said, what denomination of the CHRISTIAN faith was Jesus.
The Jews rejected him as the messiah. He said He “came not to destroy the (jewish) law but to fulfill it.”
the Jews regarded Jesus as blasphemous, rejected him (OBVIOUSLY). So people who answer this question as that Jesus is part of the Jewish denomination of Christianity, are wrong. Jews haven’t recognized Jesus as the messiah, so how could Judaism be a denomination of Christianity? Jews are Old Testament, Christianity is Old and New Testament. Jews don’t regard the new testament.
Jesus is not a denomination of himself.
Your question is a bit flawed. Stop thinking in terms of denomination and start thinking in terms of theological soundness.
Whatever is theologically sound is of Jesus and is the proper denomination of Christianity. I have yet to find any denomination which encompasses all soundness.

Well the main thing to understand is there is a difference between faith (having a belief) and religion (a grounds of a organised faith as a group of similar beliefs).

Religion does not mean faith. Jesus was a Jew but preached himself as Lord which was a prophecy in the First Testament – all throughout Isiah. However at the time of Jesus a lot of the Jews denied Jesus as the Lord, and the group that accepted him changed their Religion name to Christianity – solving the problem of associating them to their beliefs.

Jesus clearly preacher certain morals and commands that we should follow, Jesus did not follow a denomination of Christianity (mainly because Christianity was formed after his death!) but because the Bibledoesn’tt preach denominations, throughoutPaul’ss letter he teaches to unite as Christians and not allow obviousnegativee HUMAN values block of from having unity to God.

Obviously different denominations preach different interpretations of the Bible and proclaim divinity understanding, but the point of Jesus was to destroy the laws that bound man and give the freedom to the people of the world.

Jesusdidn’tt say “follow Christianity and you will find salvation” or “follow Methodists and you will find salvation” (just as an example!). He said “follow me”. Its hard to get you head around, but if you interested Jeremiah 7 and Isiah are good reads to gainclarityy.
