    Not enough, too much, respectively.

It is extremely worse. According to my first question, “What is your biggest beef with Christianity” I realized that most people dislike Christians more than simply Christianity itself.

    Sin.

i think most people are sincere,
but many people can be sincere and completely wrong.

    the trinity is wrong

Knowledge away from Wisdom is corruption. A religion is its followers. How much the religion is sincere depends on how sincerely the religion is followed. The percentage therefore is not ascribable to the religion but to the individual and the level of spiritual emancipation in the individual.

It’s all BS. Harmful BS. As for the origin, Richard Dawkin’s book “The God Delusion” has a very convincing explanation of how religion evolved, and I believe it was corrupted from the start. Anything that interferes with rational thought is evil.

1- prophets are mere men. and sometimes with good intentions they add what they allready know as men to what is revealed by God from what is known by God. people years ago new nothing of germs or mental illness. so when someone died from eating bad pork for example, no one knew that ‘the bad bacteria killed him’. so it was explained by men and added to the word of god that ‘to eat pork is evil and you can die as punishmen for such sin’. Or ‘if you don’t wash your hands before you eat you will defile the food and therefor become sick as punishment from god’. and then these stupid rules become as important or even more important than other ones. so you have muslims and jews that will massacre each other but never put a peice of pork in their mouth! (not that christians are so correct either).
2- on top of that, believe me most prophets an even Jesus did not have the time to sit down and write volumes of their teachings. they preached and others wrote it down.
3- religion is of man, not of God. religion breeds ignorance, arrogance, intolerance, and competition between communities formed by belief structures, most of which are based on the opinions of primative men.
4- that is why if you really seek the truth you will read the jewish old testament, the christian new testament, and the muslim Qur’an. all these books have both truth and false in them but when you use all three you can filter out the false and find the deepest and most profound of truth & wisdom. P.S. there is nothing wrong with skipping to more interesting AND informative parts of holy books. for example; Deuteronomy and Numbers are not even worth flipping through. very boring and useless.

all people do not understand the depth of the concept religion so they become deceptive but i feel that all religions were started with the same concept to achieve gods feeling but because it need sincerity and people who follow the religion by birth do not get that sincerity in all walks of life so all religions are the path to the same god pl follow your religion with its basic concept and feel its presence everywhere

I think it is mostly sincere, or at least attempts to be, but the deceptive part is so bad , it makes many of the sincere ones look bad as well

bad pats include televangelists, fanatics, terrorists, bigots, the willfully ignorant and self-righteous idiots
